    • We know you will be tired.... it will be an emotionally and physically exhausting day (and days leading up!). We will have a 30 minute formal program consisting of a few words from Dr. Newman as well as hearing from a panel of seasoned parents of college students! There will then be a reception in the lobby with affinity group gatherings (academic divisions, regions of the country, athletic teams, & musical ensembles.) This will be an opportunity for you to meet other parents or faculty.
  • Breakfast Gathering for Students and Families of Diversity
    • Barnes Student Center / Jones & Leedy Banquet Rooms
    • A special continental breakfast, hosted by the Office of Intercultural Learning & Engagement and the Life-Calling and Integrative Learning Office, to welcome families of students of diverse backgrounds to campus. This is an opportunity to be introduced to President Wright, Chancellor Anglin, and key members of the IWU community who are dedicated to seeing students thrive.
  • Parent Session: Life Calling at IWU

    • Dr Brandon Hill will explain the Life Calling distinctive at IWU, and share important information on the collaborative partnership between parents and IWU. Dr Hill will also share ways that parents can help their students to be successful at IWU.
  • New Beginnings Family Worship and Commissioning

    • This service celebrates our students and their families. We encourage students and families to sit together for this event.
  • Lunch in Marion Community
